When she sleeps, he goes to take care of the Stargate.

"You changed it to how you prefer your workspace. Not how I prefer mine."

Parker goes along.

"Awesome!" Vega grins.

Midgard

Mary looks around.

She sleeps for awhile.

SGC

"I changed to what's practical!"

Nomad

He takes them to Starfleet. Sadly; sadly. When they arrive, mysteriously Raines isn't with them at the other side of the Stargate

He smiles.

"At last. Now I can make it much more compact, it'll be easier to take it on missions and the battery will last longer."

Midgard

"I think we could ask someone if they know where we can find the Forest of Spirits."

Once the Stargate's done, he goes to seal off the tower.

SGC

"In your opinion, McKay."

Nomad

"That sneaky son of a bitch!"

Midgard

"Alright." Mary nods and starts asking around.

SGC

He sighs and sits down.

Nomad

"That's impossible, Snake wouldn't have let him escape us..."

"I know that all sounds silly, but I like to play at improving stuff like that."

Midgard

A man answers her, but...

"You can't! The elves would never allow you to enter, rumors has it they kill anyone who try to enter the Forest."

SGC

Sam starts to work.

Nomad

"Apparently he isn't that good because Raines isn't here."

"Doesn't sound silly at all."

"We have to try, regardless."

SGC

He works too. Grumpily.

Nomad

He sighs.

"Well, most peoples find that, nerdy."

Midgard

"But that's..."

Poor guy can never finish his sentence; an undead stabs him in the back. In fact, many undead attack the town, attacking peoples and doing all the kinda stuff that piss off Valkyries.

SGC

Sam works for awhile.

Parker scowls and enters the code to go back.

Midgard

Mary instinctively lashes out with Animus before Lenneth appears and attacks them.

SGC

"I dreamed of you when I was sick."

He waits and goes back. Snake's there.

"Why the hell did you come back?"

He smiles.

"That's good to hear."

chaos helps Mary then stares at Lenneth.

"That's... the woman of the future." he says "Think she could help us?"

SGC

"What?" She questions, obviously shocked.

Nomad

"Raines didn't get there with us." Parker scowls.

Vega grins and hangs her arms loosely over his shoulders.

Midgard

"I'm sure she could." Mary nods.

Lenneth watches them for a moment.

"You watch me as though you know me."

SGC

"I was sick! My mind clung onto what it could. Better you than my sister."

Nomad

"He went through the Stargate though."

He smiles.

"Wanna we do something now it's done?"

Midgard

"Oh, er..." he hesitates a moment then votes against telling her the truth

"We just heard rumors about you... And we thought maybe you could help us get somewhere?"

SGC

"Shouldn't you be closer to your sister?"

Nomad

"He didn't show up."

"I am a battle maiden, not a guide." Lenneth says evenly.

"Only the souls of the dead are guided anywhere by me."

SGC

"That's a long and sad story." he says "Annoying story in fact. Short even. And not sad. I'd rather not speak of it."

Nomad

"What the hell. Maybe you're the one who screwed up here, not I."

"Maybe... Wait, do you have something in mind?"

Midgard

"Right..." he slowly nods

"But we are not... exactly from that world, and the way back to our world is located in a forbidden area. Our presence here could cause disturbances."

SGC

"Alright then." Nope, Sam doesn't push it. She doesn't really care, actually.

Nomad

"How the hell could we have screwed up?!"

"Nope, not a thing. Literally, nothin' up here." She raps her knuckles against her head with a silly grin.

Midgard

"What forbidden area?"

SGC

He stares at her surprisingly for a few seconds. He was expecting her to push it, actually.

Well, he goes back to work as well.

Nomad

"I didn't lose the Zombie, I saw him go through the gate. hence, you lost him on your side."

"I see... Well, once Snake's will be back, we could use the ship to go, anywhere."

Midgard

"The Spirit Forest." he replies

"It's very important we get in there."

SGC

Sam works awhile yet.

Nomad

"We can't lose something if it never arrived!"

"Your call there." Vega grins.

Midgard

"Only elves and gods walk the Forest of Spirits."

SGC

He works. And sighs a lot.

Nomad

"He can't just have disappeared into the Stargate."

He smiles.

"We'll find a nice place."

Midgard

"Well, we need too, that's what that sorcerer told us; hrm, I mean..."

Oops.

"The man who brought us here in the first place. He said the way back is there..."

SGC

"Something bothering you, McKay?"

Nomad

"Apparently he can!"

"Good."

Midgard

"What sorcerer? And how could he know what secrets the Forest of Spirits hold?"

SGC

"No no, just the usual..."

Nomad

"Or he used a stealth camo and walked right in front of your eyes, laughing silently at your faces!"

"Yeah, I'm sure of it."

Midgard

"I-I don't think he mentioned his name. And this doesn't matter, to avoid disturbing this world we must reach the transportation artifact."

SGC

"If you say so."

Nomad

"He was watched the entire time he was on your plane! How the hell could he have gotten it??"

"And until then..?"

Midgard

"Very well." Lenneth says shortly.

"I will guide you. However you are not dead and so you will have to find a normal form of transportation to the forest."

Back in Lezard's Tower, Lenneth wakes up to see herself starting to fade away.

"Lezard..?!"

SGC

He just nods. Slowly. Sadly. Painfully.

Nomad

"How am I meant to know? I'm not the one who watched him."

"Hum, calm down please peoples." Jarod says

"Well, I dunno really..."

Midgard

He nods.

"Well, our bodies aren't exactly human, but fine."

Lezard's finished doing his stuff, he happily goes back to his room butt then sees that.

"Lenneth?!?!" he rushes to her "What's happening to you?"

SGC

Sam sighs after awhile.

"Why don't you take a break?"

Nomad

Parker gets quiet but she scowls and looks towards Jarod.

"And neither do I."

Midgard

"Whether your bodies are human or not, I cannot transport those that are not dead." Lenneth says shortly.

---

"I don't know! I woke up like this!" She frowns and tries to hold onto him but her hands just pass right through.

SGC

"I don't want to!"

He shrugs.

"How could I know what happened?"

"I guess I'll just do more."

Midgard

"Alright, alright, we'll go on foot."

He turns to Mary.

"She looked nicer back there."

Shocked Lezard is shocked. He tries to catch her too, but to no avail.

"... I have never seen such a thing. It can only happen if... ! We have to stop this!"

SGC

"You're not going to be very helpful if you keep moping though."

Nomad

"Use that genius Pretender brain of yours."

"Alright." Vega nods.

Midgard

Lenneth nods and starts to go.

"She was." Mary nods. "I wonder what changed."

---

"I don't think we can..." Lenneth says slowly. And after a few minutes, she fades away completely.

SGC

"Moping? Who's moping?!"

Nomad

"Well, I'd have to say he maybe neither escaped to Snake, neither went invisible before us." he says

He tries to improve the MkIV.

Midgard

"We can always ask when we'll be back." he says and goes too.

The face Lezard made when Lenneth and the three others merged into the Valkyrie? It's nothing in comparison to the horror face he got right now. He tries to crystallize the air around him to catch her soul, search the whole tower, goes to his Crystal Ball to try to locate her.
