A Black Mage appears behind Miroku & blasts him with a fireball, sending him to the ground with a flaming out fit.
Another Black Mage appears behind Eiko, grabs her & teleports away. Sensors/magic won't be able to find her where she's going.
Suddenly, all the mages vanish.

The mage appears out side the barrier, then throws Eiko to two Alexandrian soldiers standing guard inside the barrier. One grabs the child to prevent her from running away but remains silent.
Soldier 1: "What do you want us to with her? We were merely assigned to watch the area."
The mage points to the building behind them.
Soldier 1: "Oh, no. I'm not going in there. That place gives me the creeps." She points at the other soldier. "He will go."
Soldier 2: "What? Why me?"
Soldier 1: "Because you're a guy."
Soldier 2: "That's so unfair!" He takes Eiko to a cell inside the building.
